I'm not in the music business but it seems to me that the complexion of it is changing dramatically and (in order to grow) you have to change with the landscape, I'm glad to see you're tending to your garden of fate. There is an Erin McKeown song from her Distillation album called 'Fast as I can', I often think of my favorite singer/ songwriters when I hear it because (to me) you're making the music that matters...and success is very subjective. ReplyDeleteWOW! Saw you the other night at the Narrows; the guy who was long in the tooth and so short on cash that I had to go get some down the street between acts to buy your album "Lakeville". For me you stole the show. I could have listened to you all night long. Evocative, smart, lyrics. I especially loved Powder Blue and your terrific cover of This is a Man`s World. I`d download those right now if they were available but I`m hoping you`ll be including them in your upcoming album. I now have a stake in it albeit very little.
